A new journal is devoted to refinement alternatives

The first annual WARDS Journal of Refinement Recognition is available from WARDS, Inc., a moderate animal protection group. The journal includes a discussion of the current status of refinement alternatives, as well as four research strategies that may offer broad applications for enhancing the well-being of commonly used laboratory animals.
