Webinar: The IACUC's Role in Environmental Enrichment Programs: Oct. 9, 2012

Environmental enrichment programs are intended to provide research animals with housing that promotes species-specific behaviors and enhances overall well-being. The goal of this 90-minute webinar is to examine the role of the IACUC in the development and operation of environmental enrichment programs. Jennifer Camacho, LVT, RLATG, and Christina Winnicker, DVM, MPH, DACLAM, will discuss the IACUC's role in environmental enrichment programs, including: development and operation of the program; educating IACUC members and staff; interpreting the regulations; identifying the IACUC's role in reviewing the program and exemptions; and pertinent reporting requirements.
