ALTWEB REDESIGN
In case you haven't noticed, Altweb has undergone a redesign.
We've redesigned the site from the ground up to make it more attractive, informative, and easy-to-use. Since the dust is still settling, some older, archived material is not yet available, but will be as we move forward.
Please send us your feedback and comments so we can continually improve the site. Send all feedback to: mhughes@jhsph.edu.
Some of the recent additions to the site are:
- Search for Alternatives (beta) section, designed to assist researchers with literature searches.
- Altweb news items are now syndicated via RSS (Really Simple Syndication), enabling you to receive the latest news in alternatives via a news reader program, your Web browser, or through a service such as Bloglines.
- The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section and the Glossary of Alternatives are now available in Spanish.

Symposium - March 13-15, 2006
DNT is a major issue in children's health worldwide. This symposium is the first of a series that will bring together leading stakeholders from around the world to develop the Developmental Neurotoxicity (DNT) testing methods of the future. It is designed for international sectors of industry, regulators and scientists involved in developmental neurotoxicity, chemical testing, risk assessment, children's health, policy integration, and animal protection concerns.
TestSmart DNT is a long-term program aimed at identifying a battery of methods for DNT testing that meet government requirements, enhance decision-making, and
promote humane science.
